Blanket For Baby...

We will be welcoming a new member to our family very soon. In a little less than a month, I will be a Nana and have a beautiful little grandson.

I can't wait.

Here is the first of many blankets I have made for him.

And because this year will be full of blessings, I am going to be changing my traditional {hugs} for...

{blessings}

  1. Love the colours and the chevron pattern. Do you have instructions for making this or a pattern? I have a little boy due in April and these are the colours I'm decorating his nursery in.

    1. Congrats to you. The pattern is from Lucy's blog Attic24 and it's called the Neat Ripple. It's a really easy and fun blanket to hook up.

  5. How lovely! I'm having a grandson in May! Could you tell the color names you used? I love the combination. I'm using Lion Brand's Organic Cotton (which I understand they no longer make)for a smallish carseat blanket. Do you know if the cotton yarns shrink significantly?
    Thank you. I'm a new follower and am sharing your post with friends!

    1. Hello - I used Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn. I don't have the labels anymore, so I can't tell you the color names. I love using cotton yarns for wash cloths, I don't think there is that much shrinkage after being washed. Have a wonderful day.
